- You must be the legal owner of the item you are advertising (or have the permission of the legal owner to place the ad).
- Any phone number provided by you for listing in an ad must be yours, or you must have permission to use it. You must ensure that any phone number listed in your ad is correct.
- You agree that Montré Australia has an unfettered right to use (in any way it sees fit) any copyright subsisting in any advertisement you place with Montré Australia. It is your responsibility to procure necessary moral rights consents from authors of work you submit to us with an ad to enable us to use this work as stated in this section.
- Items strictly prohibited from being advertised on www.adelads.com.au:
- Illegal items strictly prohibited (eg. Firearms, pornographic material)
- Any items that are prohibited from individual sale
- Items that violate copyright laws such as pirated software, movies and music
- Items sourced illegally (eg. Stolen goods)
- You agree not to use any inappropriate, discriminatory and other offensive language on any part of the website.
- You agree not to engage in harassment behaviour towards other users of the website, and any other behaviour that violates the code of conduct of your tertiary institution or employer.
- Employment advertisements
By posting an employment opportunity on the website, you will also agree to:
- Offer legal and legitimate employment opportunities
- Ensure that you verify the identity and age of applicants who respond via the website.
- Provide accurate information about your business/company (Eg. ABN/ACN, Company Name etc)
- Provide detailed information about the position offered
- Provide additional information on the position and company details when requested by any individual.
- Browsing Rules
By browsing other ads, you agree not to:
- Collect or use personal information of other users on www.adelads.com.au other than for the intention of contacting the seller/advertiser regarding the advertisement.
- Make any attempts to retrieve personal information of other users on www.adelads.com.au by hacking into the www.adelads.com.au database.
- Flood the website with multiple ads with identical or trivially similar content.
When contacting other users of the website using the information provided on the website, you agree:
- To take measures to ensure the legitimacy of the advertisement (including the ‘Buddy’ category)
- Not to provide false identity information (Including but not limited to: Name, age, gender)
- Member Account, Password and Security
You will receive a password and account designation upon placing and advertisement or completing the Service’s registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify the website administrator (admin@adelads.com.au) of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you logout from your account at the end of each session. Montré Australia cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this.
- Violation of terms and conditions
Violation of any of these terms and conditions will result in termination of the advertisement(s) and registration of any user(s) involved. You also agree to give Montré Australia the right to publicise your name (or company name) and the content of your advertisement on the website even after expiry or termination, for the purposes of educating and protecting other users.
